I'll gladly put this applet up for free retrieval by anyone who wants it, but you'll have to e-mail me first to give me the idea you're interested. (You can have the spoke length program too). I'll even make you look on another page on this site for my e-mail address. Ha.
So what this applet does is animates a bicycle chain rolling by. It does this by loading a picture of a single like, and then tacking the links together end to end and moving them all around. The illusion then is a moving length of bike chain. A rolling bike chain! The download is very small, as it uses only a single link to make all of the images for the animation.
